- Optical link and network designs; Performance measurement and monitoring
Course Structure and Grades
- HW: 20%
- Problems will assigned periodically
- Due one week after being assigned
- Late HW: -10% for each late week
- Mid-term test: 40%
- In-class open-book test
- Final: Term project 40%
- Write a 5 to 10-page paper on a selected topic
- Give a 10-minnute summary talk of the paper
- Work in teams of two people
